5-Star Foam Roofing Services

Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) Roofing Services

People pick spray foam roofing for its efficiency, toughness and long life. Spray foam acts as a seamless roofing system and an insulating barrier. The SPF creates an airtight seal resistant to moisture, impact and heat. This mixture of benefits makes it an ideal roofing option for Arizona’s climate and weather.

Our SPF roofers can make spot repairs or apply new spray foam coatings. Either way, we complete most SPF roofing projects in 3 phases.

Phase 1
Inspection & Preparation
After inspection, we'll prepare the roof to have spray foam applied. This includes removal of existing substrate, making repairs, mods and addressing drainage issues.
Phase 2
Spray Foam Installation
Our trained installers create the spray polyurethane foam mixtures. With high quality SPF guns they apply it in an even continuous layer. After the foam hardens, we trim and shave it to keep a neat appearance.
Phase 3
Apply Protective Coating
An acrylic elastomeric coating is applied to protect the foam from premature degradation. It creates a barrier against UV, weather and mechanical damage. Additional coatings can be applied to increase the roof's life and warranty.

SPF Installation

Each SPF roofing project begins with proper roof preparation and over spray protection. A consistent thickness of spray foam is applied, followed by durable protective coating layers to create a seamless, insulated, and waterproof roofing system built for long-term performance.

Roof Removal

We use roof scarfer equipment to remove damaged spray foam for spot repairs or full replacements. When converting to SPF, existing roofing of all types is removed and the substrate is properly prepared for a clean, stable foam roof installation.

Re-Coating & Repairs

Common SPF roof issues such as cracks, blisters, punctures, ponding, UV damage, and leaks are carefully addressed. Protective coating layers are reapplied as needed. Timely repairs restore performance, improve weather resistance, and extend the service life of the roof.

Maintenance Services

Annual inspections help spot wear before it becomes costly damage. Services include dust and debris removal and pressure washing when needed. Inspections are free, you only pay for washing and repairs if needed. Annual inspections are required to maintain warranty coverage.

Common Questions About Spray Foam Roofing

Here are some common questions we hear from our Phoenix area SPF roofing customers.
What are the benefits of spray foam roofing?
Spray polyurethane foam roofing creates a seamless roof that insulates and waterproofs in one system. In the Phoenix climate, it reduces heat transfer, protects against UV exposure and lowers cooling costs. Because the foam bonds to the surface, it eliminates seams where leaks often begin. SPF roofs are lightweight and work well on flat or low-slope roofs. The surface can be renewed with coatings instead of full replacement.
Unlike traditional roofing systems that rely on seams, fasteners, or overlapping materials, spray foam roofing forms a continuous surface without joints. This reduces the risk of leaks and air infiltration. SPF also provides higher insulation value than many traditional flat roofing systems, which can lower energy use in hot climates like Phoenix. In many cases, spray foam can be installed over an existing roof, reducing tear-off, waste, and installation time compared to traditional replacements.
The cost of spray foam roof repair depends on the size of the damaged area, the condition of the existing foam, and whether the protective coating needs to be reapplied. Small spot repairs are generally more affordable than full roof replacements. In Phoenix, timely repairs are important because UV exposure and heat can accelerate surface wear. Addressing issues early often helps avoid larger, more expensive repairs later.
A properly installed spray foam roofing system can last 20 to 30 years or longer when maintained correctly. The foam itself does not wear out, but the protective coating must be inspected and renewed periodically. In Phoenix’s high-UV environment, regular inspections and recoating help protect the foam and extend the roof’s lifespan. Annual inspections are typically required to maintain manufacturer warranties and long-term performance.
